LEARNING OUTCOME : RESEARCH METHODOLOGY 

Hello readers ! This blog is about learning outcome of the workshop on Research Methodology. The session was divided into 3 parts. Here are some important aspects about the workshop. 

                               First session was conducted by Prof. J.P. Majumdar sir. It was IMPORTANCE OF RESEARCH. He is retired Prof. at M.B.A department and now give lessons to Ph.D students. He tells us about what is Research and Importance of Research. He gave many examples to us that are very relevant to the topic. He tells us that there must be Problem in Research while you are working on it. And he tells that find your gao in the research topic and research work. He throws light on conclusion of the research topic. According to him conclusion will be form of our own comments and our own thoughts. After all it was very interesting session to us. We learned lot from his session. 

                                Second session was conducted by pur Prof. Dr. Dilip sir Barad. The topic was AVOID PLAGIARISM - QUALITATIVE RESEARCH IN DIGITAL ERA. In this session sir told us about the importance of qualitative research. Which research is qualitative or which is not is quite difficult to decide. For that sir gave us task. In which we have to find out about quality of the website. Which website provides author's name, publication year, references, citation etc. It was quite tough work as we don't find these all aspects in one website. Here is my worksheet of that task.

                               Third session was conducted by our prof. Vaidehi mam. The topic was CITATION : TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES. In this session we done group task. In my group there were six members including me. Three from sem 4 and other three students from sem 2. The task was about citation. We should do proper citation in google docs in that task. First work was upon book. We got a book and wrote one paragraph from it. And tried to do citation in proper way. Then we done citation on journal. Then we got a topic of image. We took a image and does citation of it. Then there was dictionary citation. We took a word from the dictionary and does citation about it. This task was very interested. I enjoyed the task very much. I learned a lot from the citation session of the workshop.

                              To conclude i would like to say that all the three session was very informative for us as we are going to write our Dissertation very soon. We learnd a lot from these workshop. Thankful to our prof. Barad sir for organize such a wonderful workshop for us.
